Licensing
Public licensing posture, repository timing, and release-disclosure boundaries.
The website theme can be GPL-compatible while the runtime source remains private, open-core, proprietary, or open source after a deliberate release decision.
Current public posture
The theme package is a WordPress theme and should follow WordPress-compatible licensing. The runtime implementation should not be publicly licensed by accident. If the runtime is released later, the license should be stated beside the repository and package installation instructions.
Recommended runtime options
- Private source: best while validation and product positioning are still moving.
- Open core: public reference runtime with private optimized or enterprise layers.
- Permissive open source: strongest adoption posture but weakest exclusivity.
